The 76th Republic Day was celebrated with great joy and patriotic fervor at VKNPV Ranchi Tekri on 26th January. The program commenced at 7:00 AM with the unfurling of the tricolor by the esteemed Chief Guest, Shri M. P. Suresh Kumar, Chief Petty Officer (Retd.), Navy, and Airmen Aircraft Handler. Shri Kumar, who joined the Navy in January 1986 and served for 28 years, shared his experiences of serving in warships and key locations such as Mumbai, Cochin, Goa, and Sri Vijaya Puram Air Traffic Control. His motivational speech inspired the students, igniting a passion for joining the armed forces and contributing to the nation's service. 

The Headmistress warmly welcomed the Chief Guest, parents, teachers, and students, extending her Republic Day greetings. In her speech, she emphasized the importance of upholding the values of the Constitution and urged everyone to contribute to India’s progress in academics, social responsibility, and environmental sustainability.

The Chief Guest was honored with a bouquet and shawl, expressing gratitude for his service and presence. Following this, the students presented a vibrant cultural program showcasing their talent and patriotic spirit.

The event concluded with the distribution of snacks to the attendees. A total of 510 students, 27 staff members, and 19 parents participated in the celebration, making it a memorable occasion.

Vivekananda Kendra Nagar Palika Vidyalaya, Ranchi Tekri, celebrated Swami Vivekananda Jayanti and National Youth Day with great fervour on January 12, 2025, at the B R Ambedkar Auditorium, Sri Vijaya Puram with a. The event commenced at 10:00 a.m. with an enthusiastic gathering of students, staff, and dignitaries.
Dr. Avijit Roy, Deputy Director (Health), Directorate of Health Services, A & N Administration, was the chief guest of the celebration and Shri. Ashim Kumar Paul, EE-I (Wks), Municipal Council Sri Vijaya Puram was Guest of honour.
Smti Sangita Chander, Headmistress, delivered a warm welcome speech, highlighting the significance of Swami Vivekananda’s teachings and their relevance to youth empowerment. The chief guest in his address praised the school for its efforts in nurturing young minds and organizing meaningful activities to celebrate the legacy of Swami Vivekananda. He encouraged the students to follow the great leader’s principles of self-discipline, dedication, and service to the nation.
Susri Varsha Bujone, Secretary VKV Andamans in her speech, appreciated the cultural performances and emphasized the role of education in shaping a progressive and responsible youth. She commended the school staff and students for their creativity and enthusiasm in organizing such a grand celebration.
Prizes were awarded to the winners of various competitions held earlier in connection with Swami Vivekananda Jayanti and Samarth Bharat Parv during the ceremony. Smti Usha Kumari, teacher of VKNPV, was felicitated for her lifetime service, earning heartfelt applause from the audience.
The students presented cultural performances on the theme ‘Awakening the Youth’ including dances, mime, song and skit, showcasing Swami Vivekananda's ideals and emphasizing the importance of youth in nation-building. Sri R Venugopal, Education Officer VKV Andamans, Smti. Maya Sarkar, JE IV(Wks) Municipal Council and many other guests, Alumni, SMC & PTA committee members, Parents and Students witnessed the program.
The program concluded with a vote of thanks delivered by Smti Aprajita Tripathi, expressing gratitude to the dignitaries, staff, students, and parents for making the event a grand success.

On January 9, 2025, the students of classes IX and X of Vivekananda Kendra Vidyalaya had the privilege of interacting with Mananeeya BhanuDas Ji, All India General Secretary of Vivekananda Kendra, Kanyakumari. The session was both inspiring and enlightening, providing the students with valuable guidance and life lessons.


 

Mananeeya BhanuDas Ji began by addressing the critical decision-making aspect of life. He emphasized the importance of choosing what is right over what is merely good. Through his thoughtful words, he urged the students to develop a sense of discernment, always prioritizing the right path, even when faced with challenges.

During the interaction, Mananeeya BhanuDas Ji posed an intriguing question to the students: “How can a person become well-known?” He provided insightful answers, supported by real-life examples of individuals who have made significant contributions to the nation. These examples served to inspire the students to think about their own potential to impact society positively.




A major highlight of the session was BhanuDas Ji’s advice on focusing on studies. He underlined the importance of understanding the purpose behind education, emphasizing that knowledge should be pursued not just for personal gain but for the betterment of society. By aligning their education with a higher purpose, students could develop a more meaningful approach to learning.

BhanuDas Ji also delved into the inspiring lines of the song “Chale Nirantar….” He explained how continuous effort and perseverance are the keys for achieving success. Through this, he encouraged the students to cultivate a habit of dedicated practice and preparation, reminding them that such discipline would help them overcome obstacles and reach their goals.

The session concluded with a powerful reminder of the students’ responsibility toward nation-building. BhanuDas Ji urged them to be ready to contribute to society’s progress, fostering a spirit of selflessness and dedication to the greater good.
