On 26th August 2024, VKNPV, Ranchi Tekri, celebrated Krishna Janmashtami with great enthusiasm and devotion. Krishna Janmashtami is celebrated to mark the birth of Lord Krishna, who is considered one of the most important deities in Hinduism. Born in Mathura, Krishna is revered for his teachings, playful nature, and his role in the epic Mahabharata.
The celebration holds deep significance for devotees, symbolizing the victory of good over evil, as Krishna's life was dedicated to protecting the righteous and annihilating the wicked. His teachings, particularly those in the Bhagavad Gita, continue to inspire and guide people daily, emphasizing the importance of duty, righteousness, and devotion.
The
event began with an insightful speech by Smt. Shweta Yadav, teacher, who
highlighted the teachings and life of Lord Krishna, inspiring everyone present.
The celebration featured a lively dress-up activity where students from classes
KGI to II dressed as Krishna and Radha, bringing the festive spirit to life
with their colorful attire and joyful expressions while students from III to V
performed devotional songs, adding a vibrant and heartfelt dimension to the
Krishna Janmashtami celebrations.The event was attended by 60 parents, 28 staff
members, and 157 students, making it a grand and memorable occasion for the
entire school community.
On 19th August 2024, VKNPV Ranchi
Tekri celebrated Raksha Bandhan with great enthusiasm, highlighting the
festival's essence of peace and harmony. The day began with a prayer, setting a
spiritual tone for the event. Aprajita Tripathi, a teacher, delivered a speech
emphasizing the significance of Raksha Bandhan, focusing on the deep bond
between brothers and sisters. This was followed by a melodious song by Sabita
Roy, adding to the festive atmosphere.
Students
from KG I to Class X participated eagerly. Sisters tied Rakhis on their
brothers' wrists, symbolizing love and protection, while brothers made a
lifelong vow to protect their sisters. In return, the brothers gave sweets to
their sisters, adding sweetness to the occasion.
After the school program, selected
students, accompanied by teachers, visited various local offices like PBMC, Kendriya
Sadan, Seva Niketan and PBMC site office to continue the celebrations by tying
Rakhis and presenting greeting cards and giving sweets. The event saw
participation from 450 students and 29 staff members, fostering a sense of
community and unity.
The 78th Independence Day was celebrated with great enthusiasm and
patriotism atVivekananda Kendra Nagar
Palika Vidyalaya, Ranchi Teri on 15 August 2024. The entire school community,
including 555 students, 29 staff, and 75 parents, came together to mark this
significant occasion.
The flag hoisting ceremony took place at 7:00 am, where Sergeant Tejeshwar Rao, the Chief Guest, proudly hoisted the national flag. The national anthem filled the air, evoking a deep pride and unity.
The Principal delivered an inspiring speech highlighting the
importance of independence, sacrifices made by freedom fighters, and the
responsibilities of the younger generation in nation-building.
Sergeant Tejeshwar Rao, the Chief Guest, shared his valuable
experiences and insights, recounting his bravery during the Kargil War, the
Pathankot attack, and the Parliament attack.
Mr. R. Ganesh, a teacher, delivered a poignant speech highlighting
the struggle and pain of freedom fighters, emphasizing the significance of the
Jalianwala Bagh massacre and its impact on India's independence movement.
Shresta Rao, a student of class IX, inspired the audience with her
words on independence, emphasizing the importance of cherishing and preserving
the freedom we enjoy today. The students of various classes showcased their
talents through various cultural programs like patriotic song, role play, mime
etc.
The
event concluded with a vote of thanks by Smt. K Bindu, a teacher, expressed
gratitude to everyone involved. The program ended with the distribution of
sweets to students, parents, and staff. The Independence Day celebration was a
memorable event that left everyone with a renewed sense of
"Shiksha Saptah," which translates to
"Education Week," is an event organized to celebrate and promote
various aspects of education. Typically held over a week, it includes a series
of activities and events aimed at enhancing the educational experience for
students, teachers, and the community. The purpose of Shiksha Saptah is to
foster a comprehensive understanding of educational themes, encourage active
learning, and highlight the importance of education in holistic development.
Shiksha Saptah (22 July 2024 - 28 July 2024) was a week-long
celebration filled with diverse and enriching activities. Each day focused on a
different theme, ranging from educational tools and literacy to cultural
heritage, practical skills, sports, environmental awareness, and community
involvement. The event successfully engaged students in meaningful learning
experiences, fostering a spirit of collaboration, cultural appreciation, and
personal growth. Though out these 7 days altogether students from all the
