RAKSHA BANDHAN
On 19th August 2024, VKNPV Ranchi Tekri celebrated Raksha Bandhan with great enthusiasm, highlighting the festival's essence of peace and harmony. The day began with a prayer, setting a spiritual tone for the event. Aprajita Tripathi, a teacher, delivered a speech emphasizing the significance of Raksha Bandhan, focusing on the deep bond between brothers and sisters. This was followed by a melodious song by Sabita Roy, adding to the festive atmosphere.
Students from KG I to Class X participated eagerly. Sisters tied Rakhis on their brothers' wrists, symbolizing love and protection, while brothers made a lifelong vow to protect their sisters. In return, the brothers gave sweets to their sisters, adding sweetness to the occasion.
After the school program, selected
students, accompanied by teachers, visited various local offices like PBMC, Kendriya
Sadan, Seva Niketan and PBMC site office to continue the celebrations by tying
Rakhis and presenting greeting cards and giving sweets. The event saw
participation from 450 students and 29 staff members, fostering a sense of
community and unity.
