GANDHI JAYANTHI CELEBRATION
On 2nd October, Vivekananda Kendra Nagar Palika Vidyalaya celebrated
Gandhi Jayanti and Lal Bahadur Shastri Jayanti with great enthusiasm. Smti Sangita
Chander, Headmistress, respectfully garlanded the portraits of Mahatma Gandhi
and Lal Bahadur Shastri.
Following this, Shri Alaguthirupathi, teacher delivered a
thought-provoking speech highlighting the life and contributions of Mahatma
Gandhi and Lal Bahadur Shastri. Muskan Baroi, a student, further enriched the
occasion by giving a speech on the significance of the day, emphasizing the
values of truth, simplicity, and leadership embodied by these figures.
The atmosphere was filled with devotion as teachers and students
joined together in singing Ramdhun, a favorite hymn of Gandhiji. The event
concluded with the distribution of snacks to all attendees.
A total of 29 staff members, 10 parents, and 210 students
participated in the celebration, making it a memorable day for the school
community.
