"Annual Athletic Meet 2024-25: A Grand Celebration of Sportsmanship and Spirit"
Vivekananda Kendra Nagar Palika Vidyalaya, Ranchi Tekri, successfully conducted its Annual Athletic Meet for the academic year 2024-25 on November 29, 2024, at 8:30 AM in the school’s mini stadium. The event was marked by enthusiasm, vibrant participation, and a showcase of exceptional talent.
The meet was inaugurated by Smti. M.V. Jolly, Deputy Director of Education (Sports & Education), as the Chief Guest for the opening ceremony. The program commenced with a ritual opening, adhering to proper rules and regulations, where the Chief Guest declared the meet open.
The day witnessed a variety of athletic events, drawing active participation from students, staff, and even parents, all contributing to the joyous atmosphere. In addition to the sporting activities, the event featured a fancy dress competition and an array of drills, including traditional aerobics, ring drill, mass PT, Yogasana, and umbrella drill. The children displayed excellent coordination and discipline in these performances, leaving the audience mesmerized.
The closing ceremony was graced by Dr. Satyender Pal Singh, Head of the Department of Physical Education at JNRM, Sri Vijaya Puram, who served as the Chief Guest. Medals and certificates were awarded to the winners, recognizing their outstanding achievements. The event also attracted Principals from different schools, alumni members of VKNPV, and officials from PBMC and Kendriya Sadan, enhancing its significance.
Approximately 300 parents, 550 students, and 29 staff members attended the event, which concluded happily at 1:00 PM with the distribution of snacks to students and parents. The declaration of the meet’s closure by the Chief Guest marked the end of the long-awaited and enthusiastic celebration.
The Annual Athletic Meet 2024-25 was a resounding success, leaving everyone inspired and looking forward to future events.
