INDEPENDENCE DAY Celebration on 15 AUGUST 2025

 INDEPENDENCE DAY Celebration

The 79th Independence Day was celebrated at VKNPV Ranchi Tekri with great patriotic fervor and enthusiasm. The day’s events began early with a Prabhat Pheri at 6:10 a.m., where students and teachers walked through the neighborhood, spreading the spirit of patriotism through slogans and songs.

At 7:00 a.m., the National Flag was hoisted by the Chief Guest, Shri Jitendra Kumar, Retired Petty Officer Physical Trainer, who served in the Indian Navy from 01 February 2006 to 31 January 2021. He has trained naval officers and sailors at premier institutions such as the National Defence Academy, Indian Naval Academy, and the Basic Training Centre in Orissa.

This was followed by a warm welcome address by our Headmistress. The cultural program commenced with an inspiring speech by Ms. Reshma, who spoke about the true meaning of freedom—not just as independence from foreign rule, but as the power to think, speak, and act responsibly while respecting the rights of others. She encouraged students to value their liberties and contribute positively to the nation’s growth.

Next, students presented the patriotic song “Hum Yuva Hain, Hum Kare Mushkilon Se Saamna”, followed by a thought-provoking speech on “Role of Students in Nation Building” delivered by Himesh of Class V. Everyone present wholeheartedly sang song “Seva Ka Vrat Dhara”, filling the atmosphere with devotion towards the nation. The energy of the day reached its peak with a patriotic dance performance by the students.

In his address, the Chief Guest highlighted the significance of Independence Day and urged students to obey their teachers, as teachers play a vital role in moulding them into true nation builders. A memento was then presented to the Chief Guest by our Headmistress as a token of respect and gratitude.

The program concluded with a heartfelt Vote of Thanks delivered by Mrs. Sweta Yadav, followed by refreshments for all. The celebration was well attended by 350 students, 40 parents, 6 alumni and 30 school staff, leaving everyone with renewed pride and commitment towards the nation.
