Sadhana Diwas is celebrated to honor the birth anniversary of Mananeeya Eknath Ji Ranade, the visionary founder of Vivekananda Kendra Kanyakumari and Vivekananda Rock Memorial. Eknathji's pivotal role in constructing the Vivekananda Rock Memorial and establishing Vivekananda Kendra Kanyakumari remains a remarkable contribution to Indian society.  

On November 19, 2024, Vivekananda Kendra Nagar Palika Vidyalaya observed Sadhana Diwas with great reverence. The program began with the ceremonial lighting of the lamp, followed by a floral tribute to Eknath Ji's portrait by the staff and students. Jharna Roy, a teacher at the school, delivered a compelling speech highlighting Eknath Ji’s vision and his significant contributions to society. Additionally, Shreshta Rao, a Class IX student, eloquently spoke about the importance of Eknath Ji's legacy and impact. 

Students also presented a heartfelt song dedicated to Eknath Ji and performed a skit showcasing his tireless efforts in constructing the Vivekananda Rock Memorial. These performances reflected his unwavering determination and dedication.

The program concluded with a heartfelt appeal to everyone to embrace Eknath Ji's inspiring vision of "One Life, One Mission" in their own lives, encouraging a path of purpose and service.

The event was a fitting tribute to a man whose life and work continue to inspire dedication and service to the nation.

Showcasing the true spirit of girl power, the talented team from VKNPV Ranchi Tekri secured the Winners Trophy 🏆 in the Inter-School Kabaddi Tournament 2024 (U-16 Girls), organized by the DEO South Andaman from 11th November 2024 onwards at Sri Vijaya Puram.

Their stellar performance on the kabaddi court reflected their determination, skill, and teamwork, breaking barriers and proving that girls can excel in every field. This victory is a shining example of empowerment and perseverance.

Heartiest congratulations to the champions for their inspiring achievement and for setting a remarkable example of strength and unity!

State-Level Energy Conservation Painting Competition

 Students Shine in State-Level Energy Conservation Painting Competition

Three talented students from VKNPV participated in the State-Level Painting Competition on Energy Conservation, organized by NTPC on 16th November at Marine Hall, Sri Vijaya Puram.

Among the participants:

S. Lavanya (Class VI), competing in Group A (Class V to VII), and

G. Sreepriya (Class IX), competing in Group B (Class VIII to X),

both secured Consolation Prizes of ₹7,500 each, along with Certificates of recognition for their creative efforts. Congratulations to the participants for their commendable achievements in promoting energy conservation through art!

Children's Day Celebration

 Vibrant Children's Day Celebration at VKV Andamans

 

Children's Day was celebrated with great enthusiasm on 14th November at our Vidyalaya to mark the birth anniversary of Pandit Jawaharlal Nehru, fondly known as Chacha Nehru. The day was dedicated for celebrating the joy and spirit of childhood.

The event began with a garlanding and floral tribute to Chacha Nehru by the students and staff. The children were warmly welcomed into their classes with the traditional sandalwood mark on their foreheads and bouquets.

Teachers delighted the students with gifts arranged especially for them. A lively cultural program was organized by the staff, where every teacher participated with enthusiasm to entertain the students. The program was graced by Susri Varsha Bujone, Secretary of VKV Andamans, and Shri R. Venugopal, Education Officer, who also paid their respects to Chacha Nehru and enjoyed the performances.

To promote the spirit of caring and sharing, a community lunch was arranged, and the children relished the variety of dishes they brought from home. The afternoon session, planned as a bagless day, was filled with engaging activities that kept the students excited and involved.

The celebration concluded with snacks and chocolates distributed to all the children. They returned home with happy hearts, carrying cherished memories of a joyful and meaningful day.

Vivekananda Kendra Nagar Palika Vidyalaya Ranchi Tekri emerged as the Champion 🏆 in the Under-14 Boys category at the Sahodaya Inter-School Football Tournament, organized by Carmel Senior Secondary School from 7th November to 9th November 2024 at Sri Vijaya Puram.

Adding to this remarkable achievement:

Mohd. Faizan (Class III) was awarded the prestigious Best Player of the Tournament trophy. Rohan (Class IX) earned the Best Goalkeeper of the Match title for his stellar performance. All the players received medals and certificates in recognition of their outstanding efforts. Heartiest congratulations to the entire team for their dedication, teamwork, and sportsmanship!
